Fluid Level Check

  1. With engine speed at 1000 RPM or less, turn steering wheel from stop to stop several times until fluid temperature increases to about 176° F (80° C).
  2. Check fluid level using reservoir dipstick. Fluid level should be at MAX or FULL mark. Add fluid if necessary.
  3. If fluid level is correct and foaming exists, air is present in system. Bleed air from system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING  .
