Neutral Safety Switch
NOTE:
Neutral safety switch may also be known as Transmission Range (TR) switch.
- Remove neutral safety switch from vehicle. Place transaxle gear selector lever in Neutral.
- Using a flat-blade screwdriver, turn slotted hole in either direction until a "click" sound is heard in position shown. See Fig 1. Install switch to transaxle. Ensure gear selector lever is in Neutral. Tighten switch mounting bolt to 17 ft. lbs. (23 N.m). Set parking brake, block vehicle wheels and ensure starter operates with transaxle in Neutral and Park only.
