Chart A1-2 (PRIZM) - Mil Won't Flash Any Codes, Or On Steady: Notes
When Data Link Connector (DLC) terminals TE1 and E1 are jumpered, Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will flash codes that are in ECM's memory.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Checks for short to ground in Red/Yellow wire.
- Checks for open in Blue/White wire (diagnostic request terminal).
- Checks for open in Brown ground wire to DLC or a faulty ECM.
