Steering Column: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure SIR coil is centered. See SIR COIL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE  .
  2. After all components are installed, activate SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  .
