Fluid Level Check
- With engine speed at 1000 RPM or less, turn steering wheel from stop-to-stop several times to increase fluid temperature. Fluid temperature should be 176°F (80°C) when checking.
- Check fluid level using reservoir dipstick. Fluid level should be at full mark. Add fluid if necessary.
- If fluid level is correct and foaming of fluid exists, air is present in the system. Air must be bleed from the system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING under LUBRICATION.
