Charcoal Canister Check Valve (Metro)

  1. While blowing into charcoal canister tank port, ensure air flows out air port (bottom of canister). While blowing air into purge port, no air should pass through canister valve.
  2. While applying 20 in. Hg of vacuum to "TB" port of canister valve, blow air into purge port. Air should come out tank port. Replace valve if it does not perform as indicated.
