Injector (TBI) R & I: Installation

  1. Apply thin coat of fuel to new injector "O" rings. Install "O" rings on injector. Insert injector into throttle body. Carefully install injector wiring harness grommet to housing.
  2. Apply thread locking compound to mounting screws and install injector cover. Tighten cover screws to 31 INCH lbs. (3.5 N.m). Connect fuel line with new "O" ring.
  3. Check for fuel leaks by activating fuel pump using ignition switch. If fuel leaks are not present, install air intake duct case.

Tracker Control Relay (containing 2 connectors) is under left side of dash, near kick panel
