Head Lamp Switch

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the meter hood. See METER HOOD  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Remove the meter cluster bezel from the meter hood. See Fig 1 .

  4. Remove the 2 clips attaching the head lamp control harness. Loosen the 4 screws attaching the head lamp control switch.
  5. Remove the head lamp control switch with the illumination bulb. See Fig 2 . Refer to wiring codes, see HEAD LAMP CONTROL SWITCH WIRING  .

  6. Using the J 34029-A Digital Multimeter, perform the continuity check. See Fig 3 and Fig 4 . If continuity is not as specified, replace the combination switch.
