Head Lamp Aiming

NOTE: The head lamps must be properly aimed in order to obtain the maximum road illumination and safety that has been built into the head lamp system. With halogen head lamps, proper aiming is very important because the increased range and power of these lamps make even slight variations from recommended aiming hazardous to approaching motorists.
  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
  2. Ensure the vehicle is at curb weight.
  3. Inspect tire inflation pressure.
  4. Clean the head lamp lens.
  5. Use knob A for vertical adjustment. See Fig 1 .
  6. Use knob B for horizontal adjustment. See Fig 2 .
  7. Use J 25300-B Head Lamp Aiming Kit for head lamps.
