Chart C-1, ECM Circuit Resistance Check

When replacing a faulty ECM, check resistance between terminals of the disconnected ECM connectors listed below with the ignition switch in the "OFF" position. If any of the following circuits are shorted, the new replacement ECM could become damaged.

EGR VSV & Throttle Opener VSV G5-G14 70-80
Fuel Injector G8-G17 1-2
ISC Solenoid Valve G6-G15 5-7
Lock-Up Relay PTC Heater Relay Y10-Y11 180-220
(1) Control relay connector (relay connected) circuit No. 440 Black/White wire), terminal "F" of control relay.
