Detent Valve, Modulator Valve & Modulator Assembly

  1. Install detent valve, sleeve, spring and spring seat into case bore using a liberal amount of transmission fluid. Depress detent valve spring and insert spring pin to secure valve assembly.
    NOTE: Detent valve sleeve must be installed with slot facing oil pan. Ensure that spring pin is inserted into groove provided in sleeve and not into oil passage slots in sleeve.
  2. Install modulator valve and sleeve into case with small end of valve installed first. Use a new "O" ring on modulator. Install plunger and thread modulator into case and tighten.
