The electronic module interprets position of servo unit, mode switches and output of speed sensor. The module processes these inputs and electrically signals the servo motor to drive actuating rack in or out. See Figure .

The servo is an electric motor with reduction gearing, electromagnetic clutch, actuating rack, and variable voltage position sensor. The servo responds to signals from the electronic module as follows:
