Gear Position Switch (Park/Neutral A/T Tracker)

  1. Disconnect battery. Disconnect park/neutral switch on right side of transmission. Connect ohmmeter leads across Black/Yellow and Black/Red wire terminals of switch. With gear selector in Park or Neutral, continuity should exist. With gear selector in any other position, continuity should not exist.
  2. Connect ohmmeter leads across Yellow and Red wire terminals of switch. With gear selector in Reverse, continuity should exist. With gear selector in any other position, continuity should not exist. Replace switch if not to specification.
