Removal And Installation
NOTE:
- Install the component with the specified torques.
- If the component has been dropped, replace the new one.
NOTE:
- Insert the sensor in the installation hole and be careful not to damage when installation.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Use the lift to lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the engine room rear under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM REAR UNDER COVER ")
- Remove the heated oxygen sensor [Bank 1/Sensor 1].
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)" - [Bank 1/Sensor 1] )
- Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).
- Remove the installation bolt (B), and then vertically remove the sensor from the transaxle housing.
Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
