Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.WARNING:
- Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the crash pad under cover [LH] (A).
Tightening torque
Bolt: 7.8 - -11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - -8.7 lb-ft)
- Separate the KAB connector (A) and foot lamp connector (B).
- Loosen the mounting screws, remove the KAB (A).
