Vehicle S/W Management

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Select the item "Vehicle S/W Management" in the GDS.
Select the "Variant coding (BackUp & Input)" option.
Perform the Vehicle S/W Management procedure as shown in illustration below.

Has variant coding been Performed normally?
YES
- Go to the "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Verify normal operation after exchanging with a normal test BCM. If normal operation occurs, replace with a new BCM and proceed to the "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
  * Variant coding must be re-implemented when exchanging BCM.
