Side Impact Sensor (SIS): Installation

  1. Install in the reverse of the removal.
    NOTE:
    • The door module must not be transformed because SRSCM judges a impact through the pressure sensor in the door module.
    • There is a chance to have some problem with durability and decline performance of detecting collision if the door module installed area has been damaged.
  2. After installing the SIS, confirm proper system operation:
    NOTE:
    • Switch ON the ignition. The SRS indicator light should turn on for about three-six seconds and then off.
