Removal And Installation
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing using a remover, be careful not to damage the parts.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the VESS.
(Refer to Driver & Driving Assistance System - "VIRTUAL ENGINE SOUND SYSTEM (VESS) ")
- Remove the front radar.
(Refer to Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) - "FRONT RADAR ")
- Remove the mounting bolt (A) and separate the charging port.
- Remove the front bumper beam assembly (A), after removing the bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque:
Nut: 3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)
Bolt: 30.4 - 46.1 N.m (3.1 - 4.7 kgf.m, 22.4 - 34.0 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips or retainers.
