On Vehicle Inspection
If there is a problem with FCA, LKA, BCA, ISLA, DAW, HBA, LFA, HDA check the items below.
- Check if the windshield is clean when the trouble code does not appear.
- Snow, dust, or stickers around the camera lens may result in poor performance.
- Damaged or cracked glass around the camera lens may result in poor performance.
- Any tinting or coatings around the camera lens may result in poor performance.
- Check for the condition of the crash pad and its surroundings when the trouble code does not appear.
- Any objects on the dashboard under the camera may result in poor performance.
- If the trouble codes appear, check the cover, coupler, or the front camera unit.
- Cover: Installation condition and foreign substance entrance.
- Coupler: Installation condition, foreign substance entrance, and coupler deformation.
- Front camera unit: Damages and dirt on camera lens.
- Check the front camera unit, cover, or coupler when the trouble code appears.
- Press and hold the lane driving assistant button ((1)) and see if the indicator light ((2)) illuminates.
If the indicator light does not come up, check LKA.
- Press and hold the lane driving assistant button ((1)) and see if the below indicator light ((2)) illuminates.
If the indicator light does not come up, check LFA.
- Press and hold the lane driving assistant button ((1)) and see if the indicator light ((2)) illuminates.
