System Function
- Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)
This system uses an audible warning and BCW signal on the mirror when sensing a vehicle in the blind spot area or when the vehicle is approaching at a high speed.
- Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
If a collision risk is detected due to a vehicle approaching the rear of the vehicle when changing lanes or when leaving forward, by detecting the rear of the vehicle, the vehicle shall be deflected by the body position control (ESC) in accordance with the hazard stage to assist in or mitigate the collision avoidance departure occurs, the BCA is immediately activated to perform differential braking on the front wheel on the opposite side.
- Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW)
When the vehicle is in reverse, it warns the driver by detecting the approaching from the left and right side of the vehicle using the radar sensors.
- Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
When the vehicle is in reverse, it detects the approaching from the rear side of the vehicle, and the ESC may apply the brakes to lower or mitigate the colliding damage against the approaching vehicle.
- Safety Exit Assist (SEA)
When a vehicle approaching from the rear side is detected after the vehicle is stopped, it warns the driver with a collision warning message on the instrument panel and a warning sound, and even when the driver presses the child lock button, the child lock is not released, preventing the occupant from opening the door.
