Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Disconnect the parking switch connector (B) and release the fastener (A) to disconnect the cable from the parking release lever.
- Remove the parking release lever (A) after removing the nut (B).
- Remove the parking switch after removing the bolts (A).
