TPMS Sensor

The TPMS is the acronym for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This system monitors the pressure of the tire and when it drops below a certain pressure, the BCM/IBU (TPMS Module integrated) makes the warning lamp turn on for notifying the driver. This system consists of BCM/IBU (TPMS Module integrated) and TPMS sensors.

Among components of TPMS system, the TPMS sensor is installed at each wheel rim, and its role is to measure the air pressure and the temperature of the tire and then it transmits its signals to BCM/IBU (TPMS Module integrated). The communication from TPMS sensors is done via RF (Radio Frequency) at a frequency.
