Ambient Air Temperature Sensor (AATS)
Ambient Air Temperature Sensor (AATS) measures the temperature of the air coming into the engine with Negative Temperature Coefficient Thermistor. The Engine Control Module (ECM) adjusts the fuel amount in accordance with the temperature information it received from the AATS and Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS).
