DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Casel DTC Strategy
  • Open circuit
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short power/ground in signal circuit
  3. B2/S2
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • Exhaust gas temperature (model) is higher than 600°C (1112°F).
Threshold Value
  • Internal resistance is higher than 40kΩ
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Feedback check
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • Downstream O2S voltage is between 0.40V and 0.50V
  • After enough heated
Threshold Value
  • Average of loaded voltage is higher than 2.8V
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
