Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  2. Fill the engine coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

    NOTE:
    • The engine coolant must be injected according to the integrated thermal management module (ITM) coolant filling method.
  3. Fill the water cooled intercooler coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

    NOTE:
    • The water cooled intercooler coolant must be injected according to the electric water pump (EWP) coolant filling method.
    NOTE:
    • Inspect for fuel leakage.
      • After assemble the fuel line, turn on the ignition switch (do not operate the starter) so that the fuel pump runs for approximately two seconds and fuel line pressurizes.
      • Repeat this operation two or three times, then check for fuel leakage at any point in the fuel line.
    • Place a heater control knob on "HOT" position.
    • Clean the battery terminals and cable terminals with sandpaper, assemble them, and apply grease to prevent corrosion.
