Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "FUEL PUMP ")
  2. Disconnect the fuel sender connector (A).

  3. Remove the fuel sender (B) after releasing the fixing hooks (A).

  4. Remove the fuel feed tube quick-connector (B) after releasing the fixing clip (A).

  5. Remove the head assembly (B) after releasing the fixing clip (A).

  6. Remove the suction port (A) from the reservoir cap.

  7. Remove the reservoir-cup (B) after releasing the fixing hooks (A).

  8. Disconnect the ground cable (A).

  9. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (A).

  10. Release the fixing hooks (A) and then remove fuel pressure regulator (B).

  11. Remove the clamp (A) and remove the suction port (B).

  12. Release the fixing hooks and then remove pre-filter (A).

  13. Remove the fuel pump motor (A) in the direction of an arrow.
