Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the floor console assembly

    (Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the glove box housing cover.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "GLOVE BOX HOUSING COVER ")

  3. Remove the crash pad garnish [LH, RH].

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD GARNISH ")

  4. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  5. Loosen the mounting nuts and using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad under cover (A).

  6. Press the lock pin and disconnect the knee airbag (KAB) connector (A) and driver foot lamp connector (B).

  7. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the AVN keyboard assembly (A).

  8. Press the lock pin and disconnect the AVN keyboard connector (A).

  9. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the heater & air conditioning control unit (A).

  10. Press the lock pin and disconnect the heater & air conditioning control connector (A).

  11. Loosen the mounting bolt, nut and screw, remove the crash pad center panel (A).

  12. Press the lock pin and disconnect the various connectors (A).

  13. Press the lock pin and disconnect the mood lamp connector (A).

  14. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damage clips.
