Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the floor console assembly
(Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the glove box housing cover.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "GLOVE BOX HOUSING COVER ")
- Remove the crash pad garnish [LH, RH].
(Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD GARNISH ")
- Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Loosen the mounting nuts and using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad under cover (A).
- Press the lock pin and disconnect the knee airbag (KAB) connector (A) and driver foot lamp connector (B).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the AVN keyboard assembly (A).
- Press the lock pin and disconnect the AVN keyboard connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the heater & air conditioning control unit (A).
- Press the lock pin and disconnect the heater & air conditioning control connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting bolt, nut and screw, remove the crash pad center panel (A).
- Press the lock pin and disconnect the various connectors (A).
- Press the lock pin and disconnect the mood lamp connector (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damage clips.
