Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Take care not to scratch the body surface.
  1. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the trunk lid latch cover (A).

  2. Using a screwdriver, remove the trunk lid switch (A), and disconnect the connector (B).

  3. Remove the clips, remove the trunk lid side cover (A).

  4. Open the trunk lid inside handle (A) by pressing the lock pin, and disconnect the mounting screw (B).

  5. After loosening the mounting clips, remove the trunk lid trim (A).

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the trunk lid opens or closes properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
    • Remove the grommet (A) after removing the trunk lid trim.
