Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.CAUTION:
- Wait at least 30 seconds after separating the cable.
- Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
- Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from rear hub.NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A).
Tightening torque:
107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)
- Remove the rear wheel guard.
(Refer to Body - "REAR WHEEL GUARD ")
- Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (A).
- Remove the rear wheel speed sensor bracket bolt.
Tightening torque:
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m 5.1 - 7.9 lb-ft)
- Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor bolt (A) and then remove the rear wheel speed sensor.
Tightening torque:
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m 5.1 - 7.9 lb-ft)
