Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the rear console complete assembly.
(Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
- Loosen the rear console mounting screws.
Tightening torque:
2.0 - 2.9 N.m (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.4 - 2.2 lb-ft)
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the armrest upper cover (A).
- After loosening the mounting screw, remove the rear console cover (A).
Tightening torque:
2.0 - 2.9 N.m (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.4 - 2.2 lb-ft)
- Disconnect the rear console cover connector (A).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
