DTC C1702-55: Variant Coding Error: General Description

The vehicle specification does not make a difference in ECS unit hardware, but cause a software change due to the vehicle parameter used for control logic. ECS unit stores variant code, classified according to data (vehicle information) received through CAN communication, in EEPROM. Afterward, ECS unit reads and uses logic parameters based on it's variant code stored in EEPROM to operate ECS control logic.
