DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Signal Check
  1. Driver door opens, No sleeping mode in Smartkey Unit
    1. Open or short circuit in CAN High line
    2. Open or short circuit in CAN Low line
    3. Short circuit in CAN High and Low circuit.
    NOTE: Signal level in sleeping mode
    • CAN High line: low
    • CAN Low line: high
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal Auxiliary Battery
  • At the state of input battery voltage into a SMK (IBU Module)
Threshold Value
  • CAN High/Low: Voltage is "0" means short to ground, Voltage is "B+" means short to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Above 2 seconds
DTC Erasing Time
  • Immediately
