Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD ")

  3. Remove the knee airbag.

    (Refer to Body - "KNEE AIRBAG (KAB) MODULE ")

  4. Remove the steering column.

    (Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT ")

  5. Disconnect AVN unit connector from the avm unit and loosen the mounting bolts. Then, separate the cable (B) and remove the avm unit.
