Monitor GDS Data
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- IG key "ON", Engine "ON".
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
- Are any DTCs present?
Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC resets after clearing DTC.
YES
- Go to "BSD calibration" procedure.
NO
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- BSD Calibration (EOL)NOTE: To complete the calibration in minimum time, if it is possible, not to use the vehicle that is stabilized for suspension.
The calibration reflector should be perpendicular to the floor.
Make sure that there is no other moving material except the reflector in a space around the reflector within 1.0m (3.28ft)
The reflector should be perpendicular to the floor.- Align wheel & steering of the vehicle on a straight the vehicle status.
- Check the bumper status, installed & surface (sticker, mud).
- Check the reflector to be parallel/horizontal with a vehicle.
- IG "ON".
- Connect to GDS
- select "Vehicle S/W Management"
- Perform the procedure "BSD Calibration (EOL)".
- 7-1) Check the massage "calibration completed".
- 7-2) If the calibration procedure is stopped, recalibration step 1. (5times)
- 7-3) 7-2) In case failed the calibration in 5 times.
- Check the bumper installed. (surface, bumper gap)
- Check the bracket installed after detachment the bumper.
>. Check the location of the bracket - check the guide line
>. Installed bracket: Check separated fusion splicing of Supersonic waves (6 points), inserted alien substance.
>. Installed radar: Check loosed the screw (3 point). inserted alien substance.
7-4) 7-3) After calibration failed above 5 times, replace the sensor.
- Align wheel & steering of the vehicle on a straight the vehicle status.
