Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to prevent damage to the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the Crash Pad Side Garnish Assembly [RH]

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY [RH] ")

  3. Remove the heater & A/C controller unit from the center fascia after loosening the mounting screws (A).

  4. Disconnect the A/C & heater controller connectors (A).

  5. Remove the heater & A/C controller unit from the center fascia panel after loosening the mounting screws.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
