Signal Circuit Inspection
- Connect all unit/module's connector.
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Diagnosis" with GDS (image below).
- Measure the signal waveform between "C_CAN High" terminal of AVM ("AROUND VIEW UNIT/PARKING GUIDE UNIT") harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure the signal waveform between "C_CAN LOW" terminal of "AVM" harness connector and chassis ground.
■ Reference Data
- Does the measured signal waveform follow the reference data?
YES
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check open/poor connection in the C_CAN "HIGH" line.
- Check open/poor connection in the C_CAN "LOW" line.
- Substitute with a known-good "AVM" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "AVM" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
