Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect ScanTool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
  3. Using ScanTool, check if there is an error in SAS system.

    If there is an error in SAS, first do a troubleshooting for those system and then check LKAS system.

  4. Is the same DTC displayed again?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good SAS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace SAS and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Replace SAS with a working unit. If the problem is fixed, replace SAS with a new unit, and then perform the "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • If the problem exists, Replace LKAS ECU with a working unit. If the problem is fixed, replace LKAS ECU with a new unit, and then perform the "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
