Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the crash pad under cover.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD UNDER COVER ")

  3. Remove the IBU (A) after disconnecting the connectors (B) and loosening the bolts.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  5. Reconnect the battery, and then turn on the ignition.
  6. Replace the receiver, and then perform the learning process using a diagnostic instrument (GDS).
