Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Remove the trunk lid trim.
(Refer to Trunk Lid - "TRUNK LID TRIM ")
- Remove the inside rear combination lamp.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "REAR COMBINATION LAMP ")
- Loosen the mounting nut, and remove the trunk lid panel (A).
- Remove the tailgate garnish (B).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
