Camera Interface Unit (CIU) analyzes the rear video, which is received from the rear camera via LVDS, and the steering angle sensor (SAS) signal, which is provided via C-CAN, to provide the driver with steering guideline. The system is composed of LVDS rear camera and CIU.

1. The system receives rear video signal from the rear camera and displays it on the AVN head unit monitor to provide the driver with rear side information.
2. The rear camera displays the rear blind spot on the monitor screen and is activated automatically when the shift lever is at the "R" position.
3. The system displays the anticipated vehicle path with parking guideline according to the operating angle of the steering wheel.
