DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. A fault in the TCM system
  2. Poor connection of CAN communication circuit
Enable Conditions
  • A failure is detected if the diagnostic information signal of TCM message is received as "limp home activated" more than specific times sequentially
  • A failure is detected in case that turbine speed of torque conveter signal is error for more than specific times
    • Specific times: control in progress = 50 times/no control = 150 times

      * The monitoring waits 1 sec after power up
Fail Safe
  • Inhibit the ESP (ESC)/DBC/AVH control and allow the ABS/EBD control
  • The ESP (ESC)/DBC/AVH warning lamp is activated
