DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Open or short of power supply circuit
  2. Faulty HECU
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • If the valve relay is switched ON and the V-vr is lower than 5 ± 0.5V continuously for 60 msec, the failure is detected
  • A failure is detected if the voltage difference between power side and load side of valve relay is greater than 1 ± 0.15V longer than 60 msec.

    * V-vr: The voltage of valve relay
Case 2
  • If the valve relay is switched OFF and V-vr is higher than 6 ± 0.5V or V-vr is lower than 2.5 ± 0.5V continuously for 60 msec, the failure is detected
Fail Safe
  • The ABS/EBD/ESP (ESC)/DBC functions are inhibited
  • The ABS/EBD/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are activated
