Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the front sub frame.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "SUB FRAME ")

  3. Remove the drive belt.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "DRIVE BELT ")

  4. Remove the oil cooler tube (A).

  5. Disconnect the alternator connector (A) and cable (B) from the "B" terminal.
  6. Remove the alternator (C) after removing the mounting bolts.
