DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  1. Signal circuit open/short
  2. Power supplied circuit open/short
  3. Output speed sensor
  4. TCM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
  • Engine speed is higher than 400 RPM
  • Vehicle speed is higher than 20 km/h (12.4 MPH)
  • Shift lever position in "D" or "Sports" (Forward gear)
Threshold Value
  • Output speed is 0 RPM
Detecting Time
  • 4 seconds
MIL illum.
  • 2 driving cycles
Fail Safe Condition
  • Limp Home Mode
    • 5th gear fixed
    • Sports mode 2 ↔ 3 ↔ 4 ↔ 5 possible
    • Teaching not allow
