Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Carefully remove the rear door body side weatherstrip.
- Using a tool, remove the rear pillar trim (A) by pressing the side of the clip (B).
Information
- Once the rear pillar trim is removed, be sure to replace the clips with new ones.
NOTE:- Be careful about rear pillar trim when removing by using special injection clip related to airbag deployment.
- Be careful when forcibly removing panel damage and rear pillar trim.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
