Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the trunk lid inside handle (A).
- After removing the pin-type retainers, remove the trunk lid side cover (A) by separating the hook from the trunk lid trim.
- After loosening the mounting clips, remove the trunk lid trim (A).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the trunk lid opens or closes properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
