Monitor DTC Status

Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Turn "ON" the ignition switch and start the engine.
Warm up the engine to the normal operating temperature.
Read the "DTC State" parameter.
Clear the DTC using the GDS. Turn off the ignition switch for 5 minutes and turn it back ON. while keeping it ON, see if the DTC returns.
Did the same DTC return?
YES
- Replace the AWD ECU (Back-up and input the AWD learnt values (when replacing the ECU), and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
