Monitor GDS Data
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC)
- IG key "ON", Engine "ON".
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
Using a ScanTool, Check if the same DTC resets after clearing DTC.
- IG key OFF, ON
Specification : more than 8.7 [V]
- Are any DTCs present?
YES
- Perform 4WD ECU Data Back-Up & Writing
- Replace 4WD ECU.
- Perform ECU Data Writing
- Perform "T/C Clutch Calibration".
- Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and 4WD ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
