DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN signal monitoring
  1. SCM (Steering Column Module) Connector
  2. CGW(Central Gateway) connector
Enable Conditions
  • IG KEY ON
Threshold Value
  • When CGWmsg11 is not received continuously for 1.5 second.
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • More than 1.5 sec
De-Qualification
  • When CAN message is normally received.
  • When the system is normal for 30 cycles
