Waveform of CAN Line Inspection

IG KEY "OFF".
Connected SCM (Steering Column Module) connector.
IG KEY "ON".
Measure waveforms between CAN High terminal of SCM (Steering Column Module) connector and chassis ground.
Measure waveforms between CAN Low terminal of SCM (Steering Column Module) connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Within specific

Is the measured waveforms within specification?
Yes
- Check DTC is disappeared, disconnecting all the connectors one by one which consists of B_CAN communication network such as BCM, DDM, ADM, SMK, MFSM, SWRC, PSM, SCM, PTM, STM, HSM and IP SJB.
- If the DTC is disappeared when disconnecting some connector, replace the relevant unit or module.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
No
- Check a circuit open and short of CAN HIGH, LOW of the SCM (Steering Column Module) connector, and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
